Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I was born and raised in the Bay Area, so I am excited to be apart of BACA's mission to provide mental health services to youth and families here in the Bay Area. I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University and received my BA in Psychology from Chapman University.
While working to attain my Master's I worked as an Applied Behavior Analysis therapist for children on the autism spectrum and their families. I then began my training towards becoming licensed by working as a clinician on a high school campus. It was there that I gained experience working with teens dealing with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, crisis and more. I have also trained with an outpatient adolescent substance use program where I was apart of assessments, individual and family therapy. It was through these experiences that I nourished my knowledge and passion for supporting and empowering people in their healing process.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic and collaborative, including evidence-based practices with an incorporation of strength-based and holistic techniques to promote wholeness. Overall, I believe it is imperative to connect with each individual, wherever they are on their journey, with authenticity and empathy. I am excited to be apart of BACA's team in providing a safe space that fosters positive growth and well-being.
Aside from work I enjoy being outdoors, baking, trying new fitness classes and being with loved ones.
