I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my masters at Columbia University in New York City where I lived for six years. While in graduate school I spent a year working individually with adolescents at a high school in the Bronx as well as one year at a medical clinic in Harlem working with adults and seniors with a dual diagnosis of mood and substance use disorders.
Upon graduation I relocated to Chicago, Illinois and was working at Compass Health Center as a group and individual therapist in their Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. It was there that I solidified my passion for working with adolescents, young adults and their families to provide holistic & cohesive care.
I am very excited to be a part of BACA’s clinical team. My goal is to provide a client-centered, strength based approach to allow clients to feel empowered and motivated to create change in their lives. I strive to bring innovative emotional and behavioral techniques into my work and support my clients in discovering healthier more meaningful ways of living.
